What "they" don't want you to know about ivermectin
Ivermectin…still doesn’t work for COVID. Here are the preprint results from a new NIH-sponsored RCT comparing high-dose ivermectin with placebo for the resolution of COVID symptoms. IVM also didn’t prevent severe disease.
A series of well-conducted randomized trials have previously failed to find benefit with ivermectin.
Call me an establishment shill, but I still believe that medical conspiracy theories are usually wrong.
Some other recent studies I enjoyed reading:
Prevalence of post-COVID Condition 12 Weeks after Omicron Infection Compared to Negative Controls and Association with Vaccination Status: “Overall, 11.7% of Omicron cases had symptoms 12 weeks after the infection compared to 10.4% of individuals who tested negative during the same period (p < 0.001), and symptoms were much less common in vaccinated vs non-vaccinated individuals with Omicron infection (9.7% vs 18.1%, p < 0.001). There were no significant differences in functional impairment at 12 weeks between Omicron cases and negative controls even after adjusting for multiple potential confounders.” (Clinical Infectious Diseases, 2022)
A small study systematically surveilled households in Maryland for RSV during 2020-2021. (Clinical Infectious Diseases, 2022)
“Bias due to sample selection is a key concern in COVID-19 research based on national registry data, especially as countries end free mass testing.” (International Journal of Epidemiology, 2022)
The most advanced “liquid biopsy” blood tests have finally achieved performance on par with smearing poop onto a card.
